Facilitation of integration in Eurasia as well as information and analytical support thereof are among the most important goals of the Bank. The Bank’s status of a major and a reputable analytical center is defined by its thorough analytical work. The Bank organizes conferences and round tables of leading experts, young scientists, representatives of state bodies, international organizations and business community. Over the period of eight years Journal of Eurasian Economic Integration, a quarterly scientific and analytical journal, published topical scientific and analytical articles, reviews on integration publications, interview and current news on regional integration. Eurasian Integration Yearbook, an annual publication, contained certain articles in English published in the journal in the preceding year, current news on regional integration for the preceding year and other materials, supplemented the range of the Bank’s periodicals. An information digest describing the activities of development banks and investment projects in post-Soviet states is published twice a month. A digest of regional integration events is circulated on a monthly basis.

Intensification of integration in Eurasia stimulated the Bank’s work in this respect. In 2011, EDB Centre for Integration Studies commenced its operations. The objectives of the Centre are as follows: organization of research, preparation of reports and recommendations to the governments of EDB’s member states on the matters of regional economic integration. The Centre is a mobile and a dynamic structure implementing numerous projects and conducting major continuous studies including the EDB System of Indicators of Eurasian Integration, Monitoring of Mutual Investments in the CIS and the EDB Integration Barometer, publishing its articles and monographs .

The Bank’s Strategy and Research Department prepares and distributes detailed industry and subject-oriented analytical reviews. Major research and applied projects are being implemented. The first project involved the development of EDB’s System of Eurasian Integration Indicators. In addition, the Bank’s employees publish analytical articles in various periodicals.
