Technical Assistance
In line with the best practices of international financial institutions, the EDB also has as a key goal the provision of technical assistance. One of the key elements of the Bank’s strategy for 2008–2010, is to assist in the development of balanced economic structures in its member states in order to support the
long-term stable development and growth of the region. In line with that goal, the Bank intends to become one of the top three leading international development banks in terms of technical assistance provided in the territory of its member states. To develop in this role, the Bank will work with the leading multilateral development banks, including the World Bank Group, the EBRD, the ADB, and others.
