Call for proposals requesting support from the EDB Technical Assistance Fund
The EDB Technical Assistance Fund calls for proposals from organisations interested in grants under four programmes:
- Programme of Technical Assistance as Part of Financing Investment Projects
- Regional Integration Studies Programme
- Innovative Economy Support Programme
- Programme of Support for Interregional and International Programmes
Other conditions being equal, the Bank gives priority to technical assistance projects in the following sectors:
- power (generation, distribution, energy efficiency);
- hydraulic power;
- transport infrastructure; and
- high-tech and innovative industries.
Prospective bidders must be governmental agencies, national development institutions from the member states of the Bank, international or regional integration organisations, private businesses or non-profit organisations acting in tandem with research institutions.
Proposals will be accepted at the Bank’s website at application@eabr.org
There are two phases in proposals selection. At phase one, preliminary proposals will be considered by the Managing Committee of the Technical Assistance Fund. Based on the results of phase one, the Managing Committee will forward to successful applicants invitations to proceed with phase two, for which a full bid must be submitted.
