Research and Publications
In compliance with the Bank’s Charter, EDB research puts emphasis on the processes of regional integration involving its member states. The Bank conducts biannual Eurasian Integration Round Tables, that attract leading experts in the field, young researchers and representatives of public bodies, international organizations and business. EDB is also planning to publish a quarterly Journal of Eurasian Integration. It will feature original research on the issues of economic and political integration, book reviews, interviews, as well as a chronicle of regional integration. This Russian-language journal is supplemented by the Eurasian Integration Yearbook. With this book, the Bank intends to make available high-quality publications in the Russian language to a global audience, complemented by a concise regional integration chronicle. In 2007, the Bank published a monthly bulletin on regional integration. The archive (in Russian only) is available here. Every two weeks the Bank sends out an information digest, which comprises news on regional integration and the activities of development banks in the post-Soviet arena. By subscribing, you will receive these and other analytical materials produced by the EDB.
The Strategy and Research Department also prepares and distributes comprehensive industry and thematic analytical reports. We foresee the realization of large research projects along the way. The first of them will be the «EDB Eurasian Integration Index». Also, EDB staff members publish white papers and articles in various journals.
The Bank offers consulting services to its clients and strategic partners. Administered by the Research Department, consulting services employ the expertise of various departments within the Bank, as well as of our extensive expert pool from the CIS countries.
