Project overview
As part of the project, milk and wholegrain biscuits were provided daily for 14 months to pupils at 9 schools in Armenia. The project covered approximately 1,300 pupils in grades 5–9 on a daily basis. As a result of the project, there was a significant improvement in the nutritional habits of schoolchildren.
Project goals and objectives
Strengthening food security in the Republic of Armenia by changing the dietary habits of schoolchildren to reduce the risk of childhood obesity, raising awareness among children and households about healthy nutrition and the benefits of milk consumption.
