Project overview

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), in collaboration with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP), is initiating a regional project to enhance cross-border energy cooperation across Central Asia.

This initiative focuses on building practical knowledge and strengthening professional networks among energy sector specialists from five countries in the region. The project is financially supported by UN ESCAP and the EDB Technical Assistance Fund.

This program supports UN Sustainable Development Goal 7: 

“Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all”

Development impact

2025and involve 170 professionals from Central Asia.
